Frequently Asked Procurement & Sourcing Questions

Direct clarity on sampling workflows, independent third-party surveyors, minimum order quantities, and contract payment structures.

We purchase directly from designated farming cooperatives and regional processing facilities without speculative middlemen. Each shipment is assigned a distinct production lot number linked to its regional harvest origin (such as Maluku cloves or Gayo highlands coffee). For container loads, lot tracking records, farmgate batch weights, and pre-loading photos are cataloged prior to dispatch.

Yes. While NBX conducts mandatory 100% internal pre-shipment lot testing for moisture, dimensions, and purity, buyers are fully entitled to appoint accredited third-party surveyors such as PT. Superintending Company of Indonesia (Sucofindo), SGS Indonesia, or Surveyor Indonesia. The surveyor can draw random samples, witness container stuffing, and verify container bolt seal numbers at the warehouse or port.

We prepare verified lab sample parcels (typically 500g for spices and coffee, up to 1–2 kg for charcoal briquettes, or vacuum-sealed gourmet vanilla pods). Sample preparation takes 2–3 business days. We dispatch via DHL Express or FedEx International Priority with complete commercial invoices and sample phytosanitary paperwork. Buyers cover international courier postage or supply their corporate carrier account.

For coconut charcoal briquettes, we offer full private-label manufacturing, including 1kg or 2kg inner box printing with your custom brand artwork, barcodes, and languages, packed into 10kg heavy-duty master cartons. For vanilla and spices, we supply food-grade vacuum pouches with custom buyer label markings. Artwork proofs are confirmed before mass production begins.

We primarily operate under FOB (Free On Board) Indonesian ports (Tanjung Priok, Tanjung Perak, Belawan) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to your designated destination seaport. Under FOB, NBX handles domestic transport, export customs clearance, phytosanitary certificates, and port loading. Under CIF, NBX additionally procures ocean container freight and comprehensive marine cargo insurance.

Standard international wholesale terms include Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C at sight) issued by a prime international commercial bank, or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T with a down payment deposit upon purchase contract execution and the remaining balance payable against scanned copies of the original Ocean Bill of Lading and export document packet).
